On SD 50606.26, news of the destruction of the USS Exeter and the imprisonment and torture of the crew by Klingons brought the newly commissioned Manticore-A to Tanemo-9, the location of a Klingon splinter group's torture camp. Using a ground-based disruptor cannon, the Klingons there were able to disable the USS Exeter and bring their crew down to the torture camp. A Manticore away team was able to sneak into camp and and knock out the disruptor cannon. They then rescued the Exeter crew, but the ship was in pieces, in orbit, and unable to be rescued.
